A day at the Lantana
Staying at the Lantana holds wonderful surprises and leisure occasions for your Sardinian holidays, and it almost always starts with a beautiful and refreshing night, in the extremely quiet rooms scattered in our lush park.
1.The best way to start the day is our buffet
Upon awakening, there’s nothing better than a rich breakfast buffet on the hotel terrace by the poolside to start the day: those who love sweet flavours, can enjoy our croissants, our homemade cookies and the cakes fresh from the oven, or fresh bread with one of the local homemade jams or honey. Those who prefer a savoury breakfast, can indulge in our selection of hot eggs and local cold cuts and cheese platters. The buffet also includes cereals, fruits salads, juices, yoghurt, dried fruit and seasonal fresh fruit, while hot beverages, coffee and organic tea are served at the table.
2. Strolling around Pula
Before diving into our emerald sea, many in our guests enjoy a morning stroll along the streets of the historical centre of Pula: on Tuesdays, don’t miss the local market, where you can hunt for bargains and typical Sardinian products.
At lunchtime, some of our guests prefer to remain in the town square, while others come back to the hotel for a quick light-lunch on the terrace.
3. Sightseeing or relaxing afternoons
The afternoon is an ideal time to relax in one of the amazing beaches of Chia, or at the Lantana swimming pool; you can also leave the hotel for a bike ride, enjoy the wonderfully photographic views, or take time to visit the large archaeological site of Nora, explained with passion by our knowledgeable guides.
4. Cocktail hour in the park and then off to dinner
In the late afternoon, it’s always nice to enjoy the swimming pool and a cocktail with your friends, before discovering what the chef has in store for dinner on the candlelit terrace, surrounded by the lights of the exotic garden that encircles the Resort, with its fascinating combination of scents, embracing surroundings and private nooks.
5. Special poolside evenings
During summer, the special poolside evenings, livened up by our barbecue and traditional Sardinian shows are a must for our guests here at the Lantana. Those who enjoy staying up late, can wander around the streets of Pula and the surrounding areas to discover local restaurants, bars and shops.
